Incheon National University has presented goals and tasks through 'INU Vision 2030', including the transition to a research-oriented university, the establishment of a research institute-centered group research system, and the enhancement of large-scale convergence research planning capabilities. As a superstructure serving as a rudder for group research, the Group Research Innovation Planning Group consists of full-time faculty members, postdoctoral researchers, and industry-academic cooperation-focused professors affiliated with outstanding research institutes. Divided into three divisions by academic field, it strives for interdisciplinary convergence and communication with the goals of coordinating group research, strengthening external project acquisition capabilities, and activating internal and external research networks.
