Introduction
The educational goal of the School of Exercise and Health Sciences is to cultivate health and fitness specialists, clinical exercise specialists, and sports entrepreneurs—sectors expected to see increased demand in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution—by providing students with systematic academic theoretical courses and practical training courses. To efficiently achieve these educational goals and facilitate career planning, the School offers students three tracks categorized into Health and Fitness, Clinical Exercise, and Sports Entrepreneurship.
The Health & Fitness Track produces high-quality Health & Fitness Professionals (Personal Trainer, Strength & Conditioning Expert) through the completion of essential theoretical courses required for the Health Exercise Manager, Sports for All Instructor, and ACSM CPT/CGXI certification exams, as well as advanced major practical courses such as PT, and
The Clinical Exercise Track aims to train clinical exercise experts (Clinical Exercise Physiologist, Exercise Rehabilitation Exercise Physiologist, Exercise Rehabilitation Expert, Athletic Trainer, etc.) who lead the fields of health and sports medicine by providing advanced theoretical and practical subjects (AT) required for certification examinations for Health Exercise Manager, Clinical Exercise Physiologist (KACEP), Athletic Trainer (KATA), Exercise Rehabilitation Trainer for the Disabled, and ACSM CEP.
The Sports Entrepreneurship Track provides the theoretical coursework and practical experience necessary to cultivate experts who will lead the creation of future growth engines related to sport-specific coaching and service development, sports marketing, and the development of bio and exercise rehabilitation equipment. This is achieved by fostering an understanding of consumers in the bio and sports industries, the analysis of bio and sports market trends, and the ability to utilize Big Data. A relevant qualification for this track is the Sports Management Specialist certification.
